The Office of Financial Regulation (OFR) has implemented a
secure electronic mail system to protect the integrity and
confidentiality of information being transmitted through the
Internet. ZixCorp's easy-to-use e-messaging protection
makes it easy for external recipients to both receive and
read all encrypted communications - whether they are a
ZixCorp customer or not. The privacy of business
communication is important and OFR strives to ensure that
confidential information stays confidential. As
part of OFR, the Divisions of Financial Institutions,
Securities, and Finance (Divisions) utilize ZixCorp’s secure
electronic mail system. The Divisions are therefore
requiring staff to utilize ZixCorp encryption services when
sending confidential e-mail communication to users outside
OFR. This solution secures and encrypts email
communications when designated by the OFR e-mail user.
